Alarm acting up...please advise! 94 RT/10

This weekend, my alarm started acting up. I first noticed it when my car suddenly stalled at a red light. I couldn't start the car until I realized that the alarm light was blinking, so i disarmed the alarm on the FOB and it started right up. Now, when I turn off the car, I hear a repetative clicking coming from the footwell. It persists until I arm and disarm the alarm. I don't know if the whole security system is faulty, or if something can be reset? Please advise.

I had something similar when my remote battery terminal was loose. I would check there as well as the battery itself. If the power blinks off for a second the alarm will arm and shut the car down.

I had persistant alarm problems... car would get stuck in "fuel cutoff mode" even after disconnecting and reconnecting the battery. Ended up having to replace my computer and entry module.
