Alarm on car doesnt work. need advice

Hey gang:
I have the 1994 rt/10. I tried to arm my car and nothing happened. I put new batteries in it and still nothing. Any ideas?

Have you tried to hold down both buttons for a few seconds at the same time? If that doesn't work, you have to reset it. I had to do it once, but forgot the procedure (VERY simple) There is a brown or green wire under the steering column you just ground out, then resynch it with key fog. I'm sure someone here can tell you the whole story or you might want to use the search feature of this bbs using "resetting alarm" or "alarm resynch" etc.
