Alarm Question

Car Alarm is Setting itself to On while driving. The Alarm Set light starts flashing and so do the lights. Is this a sign of a bad alarm module? I have already replaced one. Sometimes the headlights are not coming on unless I slam the door once or twice now too. Do not know if related. Car had some wiring work lately. Thanks

mine has been doing the same thing. i had a place disconnect my aftermarket alarm (bad module), and i plan on having a new alpine alarm in soon. now with just the useless stock alarm (keyless entry thing), my ALARM SET dash light goes on every so often -- over rough roads, or just taching it up -- then it goes away. im thinking that module is hosed as well, or the connections are loose. having it looked at and will let you know. i hate that thing...its not like my door locks open/close anyway. any harm in disabling the factory alarm and just going with the aftermarket one?
