Alarm Question

Can anyone tell me what is the issue when I set the alarm, the red light on the dash does not go on like it use to. The doors lock but the light does not flicker and it doesn't give me that second beep after 15sec or so. Any thoughts?

Mine does the same thing....I would like to know too.

Might try re-synching the FOB to the alarm. Hold FOB toward car and hold down both buttons until you hear the car horn.

1996 GTS's had a TSB that required:

Relocate the underhood switch
Add an antenna
Replace the EEM module with one that has updated code.

Time to see your dealer or buy the parts and install yourself......
