Can someone please tell me what is the amount of torque in ft/Ibs for the wheel nuts on the viper wheels. I do not want to over tighten and strip the bolts.

Thanks

Make sure you torque the wheel lug nuts when they are totally free of contact with the ground. An impact gun makes it easier to start the lug nuts. It you use an impact also make sure you manually thread the lug nuts several threads prior to using the impact tool. I apply approximately 25-40 ft lbs with the impact, then as suggested an intermediate torque of 40-70 ft lbs and a final torque of 90-95. Due to the high torque value use a 1/2" drive. With some wheels you will have to use a thin wall socket. As an example, on the Purner wheels I cannot get some sockets in the access hole. You definitely cannot use a true impact socket on the aftermarket wheels. Since my wheels are on and off so often I apply a small amount of anti-seize to help in the assembly/unassembly process.

Manual states to torque the bolts between 80 and 100 foot pounds. I torque
mine to 90. Use the star pattern that the other poster displayed.
