Yea, I saw that thing too. It sounds like a beat *****!

"Both sills have damage underneath from bottoming out"

"front suspension parts has a light bend in it ( not unsafe or adversely affecting the car"

"the two large speaker covers between the seats sometime pop out when the car flexes under hard exceleration"

"crack in oil pan from bottoming out"

All for only $100k!

Sounds like the add for this record setting Vette.

$100,000? Even $55,000 for this car? My next car will be a Gen 1 but this car would only get about $35k from me. The first Venom 1 ever produced? Is this going to be historically significant down the road? I personally don't think so, it's just a Gen 1 that's had the piss beaten out of it.

If everyone keeps putting down the car prices people try to get for thier cars, will just keep driving down the overall resale prices on the cars in the future. We need to do what the 60's vintage car people did and drive the prices up. Sell them at the highest price we can get for them. Or even put them in auctions like the vintage car people do and then buy them back at really high price. All this will cost is auction fees.

It's not made by Dodge, it's not factory, just another aftermarket job. What about the first car into which Chuck installed a Sean Roe SC ?

Big F'n deal.

On the flip side if you over value a car it will have a far worse effect on prices. There is value and then there is someone looking looking for a sucker. At this time you cant compare the Viper to some vintage iron. There were (in most cases) allot of those cars produced with a small amount surviving thus the high prices. That car selling for 100K+ is going to do nothing for the overall market.

I was talking about all the price bashing that takes place. I don't know about this car but a good basic Vipers are becoming few and far between. Besides I am of the opion that the market for the vintage iron is largely inflated by the people selling the cars.
