94 RT/10 and thought it might be of interest. Sure, tires and gaskets immediately come to mind....but that wouldn't bother me too much. Too bad I didn't see this in 6 months!

Best hood/fascia fit that I can recall seeing. Missing a screw from the front fascia at the bottom center. That is the only nit pick I can find.

Looks better than my 95 did when I picked it up. Wow!

The days of the $45k gen1 are gone.
Has anyone noticed that there seem to be a bunch of less than 1k mile gen1s for sale of late.

I think there is a floor value for any good looking, good driving gen1, I think any good gen1 is going to find a buyer at $25k or more.

I don't think there is a big premium out there for perfect gen1s.
Less than $40k for a perfect one.

Oh, by the way...
Did anyone note the line in the ad about the car being driven every month? For ten years, to keep it in tip top shape,
like that is going to make any difference?

I beleive the gentlemen made a post about this car several weeks ago on this board and everyone had their $.02 to put in about it. There are always buyers/collectors willing to pay a premium for a perfect car and from the looks and mileage this may fit the bill.

If one bought just about any real value stock with that $60k in 1994, even figuring for the last couple of years, they would probably have 2x the money.

If the guy made payments, he's out even more.

So what's the car worth now? I'll be nice and say $40k.
The owner never drove it, had to pay for a place to keep it, had to insure it and license it.

So figuring the cost and the time value of his money, I'd say he's out $100k on his collector car investment.

The car is worth every bit of 40k.Someone will get a heck of a deal on a brand new car at 37.5.94's with 4-7k are still selling for 35-37,real money.I bought my 94 new for 55k,put 108,000 miles on it,and sold it for 25k off ebay last month.Cant imagine a brand new 94 woulnt be worth 40k.I saw a 94 black go through mannheim auction 2 weeks ago with 9k on it,and it was a no sale at 34.4.I think I just talked myself into trying to buy that red car.

Hey Joe, is that with or without the Vipair installed? This is the worst place to discuss Viper prices. Everyone is so quick to give low ball bids on other people's Vipers yet are insulted when they get low balled themselves. This board is it's own worst enemy when it comes to putting a value on Vipers. I hope he gets a decent price for his car as it is a rare (in terms of mileage/condition) automobile.

I agree 100%.Let me try this to everyone with a gen1 who thinks that car is only worth 37.5-38k.I am a real and serious buyer on any near perfect gen1,even with miles.The price should of course be reduced appropriatly for the miles.Lets say a 5k car for 34,a 10k car for 30,and so on.Please PM me for a quick sale. I'd say the 93 would be a better collector car, very low miles, first year and all.

So why do you guys think this 94 is worth so much. There are plenty of perfect Gen1s and they are not bringing the price they did.
The value has gone down, it's true, live with it.
What we say on this board isn't going to change Viper values.
Unrealistically talking up the price/value of Vipers could very easily cause a newby to pay too much.

Wow you guys make it sound like finding the right car at a good price is easy. To me you can't just look at what other cars are going for and go pick one up.
Maybe I'm not a typical consumer, but I regularly over pay for my cars and somehow get it all back when I go to sell. I guess I put a lot of value on intangibles like detailing and smell. I recently bought a used daily driver. I can not believe how many cars I passed on just by opening the door and smelling smoke or that moldy air conditioning smell. Or by sitting in the seat and realizing that some fat ass had crushed all of the seat foam and wore a hole in the bolster. I think I would pass on a car just because the steering wheel's leather is all chewed up. Just me though.

Actually I brought the car!! I am not 'local' to Seattle although I have a brother-in-law there that is arranging things for me. I will be having the car shipped to New Zealand where I will have to convert it to RHD in order to register and use it here. I have dreamed of owning one since they were first produced and been looking for a while, hoping to buy one cheap. I spent allot more on the car than I had intended but figured opportunities like this do not come often.

The car will complement/contrast my other Dodge vehicles a 1930 Sedan (the first completely Chrysler built Dodge) and a 1927 sport roadster. I just hope the new car proves to be as dependable as the old ones!!!

It would take a few months for me to learn to shift with my left hand...even though I'm left-handed. It is a shame that you have to convert it. The first time I was in England I almost got ran over by a car because I looked the wrong way for traffic flow. The earth rotates the same way - too bad we can't all drive on the same side, whichever side we might agree on.
