hello;

Yes, my paxton air filter housing does rub the hood-liner a little bit. It has kind of "burnished" four quarter-sized shiny spots on the hood-liner.

There was talk here of a factory replaced housing in the works (Paxton factory replacement, not D/C obviously).

Any news?

By the way; I wholeheartedly recommend the Paxton to all Viper owners! Trouble-free as can be, too.

My Supercharged Copperhead is putting down 645 or so to the rear wheels. 740 to the Fly-wheel, allowing for a 13% driveline loss (I believe that is the Mustang Dyno formula).

Regardless, it's about 650 to the ground with everything else stock. HUGE bang for the bucks indeed.

I do think I would like to install a lightweight flywheel next. I want to get "on boost" ASAP!

Thanks for any paxton filter housing up-dates if you have them.

No update here but I am waiting. My hood pad was ruined and I eventually machined down the air cleaner to eliminate the interference. But now it looks bad with smooth corners versus the grain elsewhere.

Come on Paxton. We paid a lot and desrve a good product!
