Any way to tell if I have the upgraded fan?

I just changed my oil today, and was looking at my radiator fan from underneath. I bought the car last year, and after seeing the fan I'm wondering if it's the upgraded 98+ fan. Is there a way to tell? My fan looks centered, and I thought the stock one was smaller and off-centered from pictures I've seen.

I am planning on upgrading for the summer, but don't want to waste my money and find out I already have it! Thanks..

PS I might be able to take a pic of it if anybody thinks they can help

Are the wind door flaps all on one side?

The older fan has plastic wind flaps and the newer one has rubber wind flaps.

They appear to be rubber, and on both sides of the fan..
