Here is answers for a new guy.

Are the wheels that are pictured above on the yellow 2001 viper, new for 2001? No, stock since '99

Also, are the hood vents above each front wheel (don't know what they're actually called) new for 2001? No, stock since '96 (on coupe)... '98 (except 1) on Roadster

Finally, what way, if any, can you tell a 2001 GTS from a 2000?

Step on the brakes! (ABS is the only change) .. plus colors, other than red, are NEW for 2001

I definitely want to get a Viper down the line. Its too early to tell exactly when that will be for me. I love the Vette and would like to keep it as well but I don't think that will be an option either. The Viper fits more of what I want since I don't need the car to be a daily driver. In the meantime I need some Long tube headers
