anyone need HREs cheap!

In case anyone's interested Yesterday I went to a tire shop next to my office to have my front tires mounted and balanced. I noticed in the back of the store a set of HREs (545's I believe). They are the same ones that are on yellow fever's car. The guy in the store said they belonged to a customer, they were just selling as a favor. Said he wanted $3000 for them. This is a great price. I'm not looking to change my wheels, so I don't need them, but I thought I'd post here in case someone else wanted them.

They have polished lips with black centers. The fronts are 18's the rears are 19's. Came off a black RT/10. They have tires, 275/35/18's front and 345/30/19 rear. Rear tires don't have alot of tread left, but fronts looked O.K.

The store is Wheel and Tire Outlet in Miami, FL. Their number is 305-259-9413. They are going to email me some pics. I'll post them when I get them.

any curb rash on the rims or how did they look

Rims looked good. Didn't see any curb rash, but I didn't examine every wheel closely.

are they the same wheels that were on ebay on a red car couple of months back? he also had 546 18" and 19" rears.

Went donwn to the shop to look them over and found several paint chips as well as some dings in the lips.

I decided to rather go for a new set when time comes

Don't forget that many high-end wheel dealers offer refurbishment services. They disassembled the wheels, repolish the front rim half, sand the rear rim half, repaint the centers, and reassemble. My guy charges $200 w/o the center painting so for maybe $500 the rims could in effect be new.
