I had a Nitrous Express bottle opener put in yesterday.

I'm used to my old NOS opener where you just flip the switch and it's open. This one it seems like you need to hold the switch down for a bit. How do you know when it's fully opened or closed ?

Thanks for any help...

It should only take about 3 sec. You should be able to here the motor go from loud to soft. When you are turning it off it's the same thing in reverse at which time you give it a couple of purges to make sure it's off.

I definitely hear it, but the motor doesn't seem to quite down or stop.

I guess I'll just hold it down for 5-10 seconds.

thanks

Hey, Z0sicks. Did you install the kit yourself? Which kit did you go with? I am also contemplating a 150 shot. And would not mind coming into NY to have it installed by someone who knows what they are doing!

I had a Place called Vettech do the install. They are in Great Neck, NY. The most professional place you can find in this area. He has done many cars for me and has even done some work on Dan Black's DLM car.
He has an in-house dyno and really knows how to tune a car.

He is closed on Mondays. His # is 516 466 3368(David). Tell him Jeff Keisner sent you.

You will love his work and attention to detail.

Let me know how you make out...

If you don't hear it make a distinctly different sound after a couple of seconds, you may need to adjust the clutch. It's fairly easy to do.
