1992 RT/10 came with hardtop on, and a loose sport bar, with no way to attach bar to frame.

I pulled off hardtop, looked up in the parts catalog. There is no parts numbers for the required screws, but does list a size of bolt (technically a screw), and says washers as needed. Went down to bigbox hardware store and got some bolts of what I think is the right size, and some various washers. They seem to be the right length to be able to tighten correctly into the frame, while still be being able to tighten up with a crescent wrench.

What should the washers and so on look like? Any lock washers needed? Which surfaces need a big washer? How many big washers? 2? 3?

Here is a picture of what the project is at so far:

Use only one washer at the head of the bolt and you got it. :eave the bolt loose like you have it, drop the pad over the top of the bolt heads and slip your wrench up underneath. It only needs to be snug, don't over tighten.
