[Viper Specialty]

Just wanted to make all of the "locals" aware of an upcomming "Mopar Only" show at my Local Dealer, Northtown Dodge, comming up in April. I was just informed of this tonight. The are relocating all of their inventory and opening up the whole dealership for Mopars. This INCLUDES a Viper-Only section. The Dodge NASCAR race car will be there, as well as a NASCAR Simulator. These are all the details I have at this point- post and let me know if interested in attending so I can get them a head count as the date approaches.

WOW Guys, thats all I have to say. Details are unfolding, and they look EXCELLENT.

OK, heres the deal with what I know so far:

DATE: April 11-12

April 11 is a "Night-Time" thing, dont have too many details on it yet.
April 12 is the "Main Event", OFFICIALLY starting at 10 AM, going until 4 PM.

There is going to be free food/entry to people who bring cars, a Mopar Store and all kinds of other crap for sale. (others will be "charity") Mopar Magazine should be there, as well as a local Radio Station for some publicity. A few car clubs as well are bringing their cars up. VIPER CLUB will have PRIMO spots. The only part of the dealership closed at this point is the back section of service, but I am working on having them open it up and put some Vipers and other Mopars up on the lifts for viewing. This is a RAIN OR SHINE event, Vipers will get spots INSIDE if it rains. (They want Vipers VERY badly, they even offered to trailer in some local guys if it rains) Also being considered it setting up a "nostalgic" sales floor with older mopars "for sale". Also being pushed for, though not certain is a Burnout-Pit, but we are unsure about it.

Dodge will have a NASCAR Race Car there, as well as the NASCAR Simulator.

This is an AS-MANY-VIPERS-AS-POSSIBLE event, the more the merrier!

NON LOCALS- Dont forget; this event is about 20 minutes from Niagara Falls, and about the same distance from Canada (did you say nightclubs?!?!) Kill two birds with one stone, take the weekend off!

JIM- I recieved the note, and FWD'd my own note again to all of the members on Nabil's list. I would also say we will have WAY more than a dozen, already have 5, and that doesnt include any of the other Local guys I havent had a chance to contact yet... as well as the 60 people it was just FWD to in Ontario! WOO-WHO!

SANDY3160- Most details are listed a few posts up, April 11 & 12, (12 being the main day, 10-4 on the 12) Not too many deatils are out yet about the 11th...working on it.

Sounds like a lot of fun, Looked on Mapquest and it is about 300 miles one way from Harrisburg to Amherst.

A little to far for me for a car show, but probably right up your alley.

Hey Skeeter, whats up man! havent talked to ya since VIO7.

Not really any updates as of yet, the NorthTown guys put the event on the back burner for a couple weeks. The planning for the "structure" of the event was done, so now they are waiting a week or so until they get down to it and lay out all of the details.

Got one more to add to the list, but he is a possible...he may have a couple buddy to bring along as well. I am still trying to contact a couple of the local guys, but they are never home! lol
