AutoArt Viper SRT-10 Coupe 2006: value/price question

Hey everyone!

I'm considering buying both of the new coupes.
The only thing that bugs me is the high retail price.
Are these models really worth that kind of money or should I wait for prices to fall just like with the convertible version? Is the increase in price due to inflation or is it energy cost related?

All diecast prices have gone up over the last few years and I doubt the price of the coupe drops like it did on the vert.

I did not have a problem paying $60 for an Auto Art a few years ago but IMO they are not worth what AA is charging now. If I was to spend $100 on a model I would be looking to spend a little more and go for Kyosho, GMP, Exoto etc unfortunately none of the high end companies make a Viper.

I picked these up locally for what works out to about $76us each. Very nice models and are well worth adding to the collection.
