Think mine might be running a bit rich... 190 miles to a tank of fuel some motorway miles playing around and a bit of playing in a car park (at a show parade)....

That seems pretty bad Baz. I get 20.8mpg (80mph, 6th gear)on the hwy and 10-12 in the city in my Gen 1. My gas mileage had gone all the way down to 7 city/17 hwy not long ago!!! I replaced my fuel filter and had a fuel induction service done. That cured my problem

I get ~22-23MPH on full highway driving, which is typically 80+ driving (100+ bursts, etc.).

My GTS is running rich, so lately I'm getting about 10 to 12 MPG around town and have never gotten over 16 MPG on the highway in all the years I've owned the car.

I got about 21 mpg going from Los Angeles to Las Vegas, at a steady 80 mph.

Around town, I don't bother to check it, but I think its about 12 mpg, or something dismal like that!

On track, it drops to about 7 mpg, I think.

I was having the same problem Baz so I talked to Chuck. He ran a bunch of checks & found that I had two bad 02 Sensors. Hopefully that will cure the problem. At worse, I got 125 to a tank!!!!! After that happened, I knew we had a little problem. :D

Stats from my last long trip, in my '00 RT/10 (perhaps more info than many would be interested in, but in case it is of interest):

Outbound
1687 miles 83.94 gallons
-> 20.10 mpg

Return
1671 miles 79.72 gallons
-> 20.96 mpg

Note that my Gen I got slightly better gas mileage than my Gen II, as I managed 22.7 mpg and 22.9 mpg on the same trip in my '95.

Roe 5 pounder / 3:45 gears. Right around 12 MPG in town--depending on how much foot is applied. I've had a couple tanks in the 11.5 range, but that was a lot of foot. Before the SC, I was probably a mile or so better.

Sustained 75-80 MPH/6th gear highway numbers so far are around 20-21. Pre SC, I could get around 22.5 MPG if I kept a light foot. Pre 3:45 rear end, I was getting 13-14 in town and up to as high as 23.8 MPG at 75-80. My town miles may be a little higher than many because we don't live in a city--it's rural / all 55 speed limits / not much stop and go.

I find it a difficult thing to run steady state in 6th gear without playing around at all for an entire tank of gas, but that's where the good MPG comes from.

Track mileage with the SC this year was 7.

I laughed when this happened because Dimitrios had a supercharger and got better gas mileage than me. LOL! Hopefully everything is okay for when I get the car back. I will keep everyone posted.
