from what i have heard the belangers are a better product. they don't get as hot and have the correct o2 sensor bunge, so no check engine light. i guess mine work good but don't see a big increase in power with my creampuff. i guess they will be more effective once i open up the motor.
Jason Heffner recommended 1 3/4" B&Bs for me a couple of months back--which I did along with High flow cats and 3" corsa along with K&Ns, and tubes. I'm very pleased with the sound and performance. Mild until you hit it then pretty loud.
Jason has done before and after dynos on several configurations and may have some good input for you.
As Martha Stewart might say "headers are a good thing."

Mike Adams,
I am curious as to why it matters? I thought they were all interchangable?
i have b&b headers in my car. it is easy to install and headers look great. my b&b headers are for sale. it has less then 1000miles. email me if you are interested. $1300obo+ship hmun1@cox.net
I have early B&B on 96 GTS. Easy install vs notching frames and melting plastic under hood reservoirs. Stock heat sheilds go back on. Quality product. Most of those problems have been address on the other manufactures lastest products.
Ultimate HP you won't get with B&B. You might get 7HP more with belangers.
