I just picked up some new belanger cats and wandering if they are good?

If you pick it up and look through it, you can can only see 2 tiny little pin holes of light that go through lol. Those things have to restrict the air! cats ****.

Anyways im debating going catless but .. VA requires emissions every 2 years so im not sure.

What kind of differences in performance and sound would I notice with or without the belanger cats? (assumign i have belanger headers and cat back in there)

Performance is a plus but i am truly after the sound.

No cats is definately loud. What kept me from going catless is the those who had complained of heavy exhaust odors in the cabin.

loud in a good way though?

My camaro didn't have cats, had long tube headers, etc, and yeah it smells pretty bad but on a V8 the sound of not having cats is amazing. Not sure what it would sound like on the V10 thou.

I replaced Roe Hi Flo cats and stock headers with the Belanger Headers and Cats. The cats are made by Car Sound.(Magnaflow) The Corsa 3" cat back has always been on the car.

This setup is not only louder, the raspy sound is ear splitting. Under WOT nearby drivers would cringe!

Installed Vortex Cones in the tail pipe which greatly reduced the high frequencies. It has a deeper tone and still attracts attention under part to full throttle.

The side sills are cooler with these cats and it passed the VA emission inspection. :2tu:

Can you tell me where you got the "Vortex cones"? Are they from Corsa?

You're not talking about the cones in the headers, near the collector, are ya?

but the question still remains, is it better to remove the cats or have belanger ones on? wouldnt the car breathe better without cats?
and also this is a very amature question but, your exhaust is composed of how many main parts?
...the cat backs, the high flow cats, muffler, and headers...i keep seeing these components but what does each part do???
