Have any of you used "Body Saver Tape" from the Allsaver company? I want to put something on my headlamps, mirrors, and front fascia for rock protection. How does it compare to 3M SCOTCHCAL paint protection film? Recommendations on vendors?

Thanks, Neal '99 Silver GTS

I am looking into the 3M stuff. What is the price and thickness of your stuff. Great idea to protect the car!

Call North American Race Parts at 317-244-9694 ( on Gasoline Alley in Indy)...often referred to as "helicopter tape"...Seems to me that 8 mil tape in 2" width about 36 ft. long is around $199.00 a roll and 14 mil tape in 4" width about 36 ft. long around $350.00 per roll. I admit that I'm uncertain about the roll lengths, but KNOW this is the GOOD STUFF that the BIG BOYS use.

where can you get the clear bra? Also I heard that there is a company that will come and apply the film with a heat gun and it looks very professional. Any sources in S. Cal.?

One source I found for Body Saver Tape is "Top of the Line" 800-533-5743. They have the tape in a 4" x 12ft roll for $14.95. I think the tape is 10 mil thick, but not sure.

Les - where can I find the "Clear Bra" film you mentioned?
