I wanted to get some of those Porsche air deflectors to fit to my track arms to channel cool air onto Vipers brakes. Went in to a Porsche dealership, and the only thing they could find was for the 2000 model 911, is this them or are they an aftermarket product?

Nadine,
The part #'s are: 993-341-084-00 and 993-341-083-00. They charged me 16$ US each.
This site has a good discription on how to mount them: Air Deflectors

I found that the method described resulted in too little ground clearance (2") so I mounted them with the ridge at the top of the lower control arm. No problems with clearance now. Be sure and wrap the contol arms with something where the deflector contacts it as they are coated to prevent corrosion. I have found that the zip tie mounting system works great as they tend to break rather than the deflector. Let me know if you have any questions.
Cheers

The part numbers are: 993-341-084-00 right side, and 993-341-083-00 left side. They are about $11 US each. You will need to make a bracket to mount them to the lower a-arms.

You're all fab, many thanks for everyone's help in the replies. That site has some great detail of how to mount them, and it's so nice to see a perfect chin spoiler in the pics, I'd almost forgotten what one looks like, mine gets lots of grief on our UK roads.
