Brake Pad recommendation?

Looking for a new set of brake pads for my gts. Any recommendations? I hear alot about EBC's, less dust but don't stop as good as others. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Well, in my personal opinion with both a Gen I and Gen II and putting on 90k miles between them, EBC Green's stop better than the stock pads on the street - less tendency to lock up and shorter stopping distances, proven to me personally by significantly better autocross times. Of course, you don't want to use them on the track - use track pads. I've yet to figure out why people say they don't stop as well on the street - unless their stock pads were a lot better than mine, or they equate locking up quicker or with less effort as a sign of good pads.

Plus, EBCs are about half the price of the stock pads, and they last at least 60-80% as long as the stock pads, which makes them a net win cost-wise, at least to me.

Thanks for the input... have been debating whether or not to get rid of the "squeakies" for the EBC's.

I current have B3's and EBC Greens. I put the B3's on to track the car. Pads are awesome for stopping but the dust is nuts and the squeaking is terrible. Unless you plan to do some serious tracking go with the EBC's. They will stop plenty good enough for street driving.
