Well gurus what to do now? I'm guessing a good epoxy would do it but which epoxy do I choose?

J-B weld - the original 2 part, 12 hr set, grey stuff.
For best results clean area(for any metal use rust remover), and clean again with alcohol. Run a course piece of sandpaper over the area you are mending, so the epoxy will have something to grab on to. This is slow dry epoxy, so you have to monitor it for a few hours until it sets(gels). Allow it to cure 24 hours before you put any stress on it. Otherwise, just follow the directions. It looks like the serrated washers and bolt
should be installed after the area is mended.

Thanks HP. I'll use that! By the way I would love to see your black with blue stripes 96. Pretty unique I guess.
