Hello again, Happy Thanksgiving,
Just installed the headers and Nitrous/Propane kit on my C-5 Test vehicle. I will be taking it back to the dyno and drag strip hopefully this weekend.
Car is spec'd out like this
99' C-5 Coupe with Auto trans, 2.73 Gears, LS-1
Stock it made 299.5 rwhp at 313 ft/lbs torque
Stock it ran a best of 13.64 @ 103.80 mph
I will be testing with just the headers first-cats are still in and no cat back as of yet. Then nitrous runs on the dyno, my goal is 150-175 rwhp with the nitrous/propane.
We are looking for stock Z-06 rwhp without nitrous. Im sure i can accomplish this with just a few bolt ons. The nitrous will be available for all C-5 vettes and LS-1 Camaros. It is a custom kit and can be used without propane for lower hp gains, similiar to the viper kit that we offer.
I hope to have results from both the dyno and Dragstrip this weekend.
