EVENT: Cruise to Calaveras County III

HOW MUCH: $20/person for lunch for VCA members & guests $25 for non-members

Take a drive up to the scenic foothills of Calaveras County. We will meet at the Starbucks in Valley Springs (200 E. Hwy12, Valley Springs, 95252) at 10:15 AM. First stop is lunch at the National Hotel in Jamestown, CA, a 45 minute drive from Valley Springs. After lunch, we’ll head to Murphys, CA where we’ll take a 45 minute tour of the caverns with their beautiful stalactites. The caverns go 16 stories deep, so there are lots of stairs. See Welcome To Mercer Caverns for more information. If you don’t want to take the tour, you can visit the town of Murphys. After the tour, it’s a 30 minute drive to Copperopolis Town Square for ice cream. Then we’ll head home. We should be finished with the cruise around 3:30pm.
Detailed directions will be given out at the start of the event.
