I searched forum and saw mixed opinions, some say that it is better to change spark plugs by 12K, while service manual calls out for the spark plug change at 30K.
If I go with the change is it easy to do? Any tricks on any of the cylinders? I looked under the hood last night and it seems not too much of a trouble job, am I wrong?
Also, what spark plugs would you recomend for the stock car with only intake, exhaust and PCU upgrade? AUTOLITE Part # XP985 or NGK V Power?

I hear you, I wouldn't take this car to any auto shop and all the "specialized" shops have accordingly adjusted high rate for the high value cars. Hence, I was going to do it myself, but would hate to screw something up specifically on something that does not need to be changed. However, my concern is if any forum member can comment on possible loss of HP due to the "old" spark plugs.

i can tell u , u wont have any horsepower loss from a old plug if the car runs smooth,if it runs smooth, there is no advantage to be gotten..there is alot of people that just talk but dont know better, and then there is the parts guys that want to sell u something.leave the car alone.

replacing plugs under 30K miles would be a waist of time and money unless you have mods that cause your car to eat em up

Some people like to just pull em every 10K or so to take a look at the condition of em... that cant hurt

sniper, are you joking???

Well, this was a disaster...It's now closed and my apologies to the good guys who took issue with the infamous spammers name being mentioned as a vendor to go to, in order to clean it up and WIPE out the spammers name and leave the original questions and answers I had to take your stuff out as well.
Message to Sniper1...you have a PM.
