Under hard braking, the "Check Engine" light came on.

I found the oil to be low, so I topped it off, figuring it may have been the reason for the "Check Engine" light to have come on.

The light didn't come on the next day when I drove the car.

Then today, while I was in the process of making a high speed turn, :D the light came on again!

After arriving home, turning off the car, and then re-starting it, the light was off again!!??

Is there a way for me to determine what reason the "Check Engine" light is coming on, without having to take the car in for service? Any type of "code" indicator reason(s) for why the light would have come on?

It's low oil pressure (I think it comes on at 14PSI? I'm sure there are threads on it). Get used to it when you drive HARD. Keep the oil level up. If you want to fix it, you can get a baffled oil pan (West Coast Viper has the kit, but it isn't cheap).
