Cinjo Racing has Great Expectations for Detroit

Clinton Township, Mich. - The Cinjo Racing/Motorcity True Performance/Viper
team has great expectations for round four of the Trans-Am Series for the BF
Goodrich Cup to be run on Belle Isle park in Detroit on June 16.

Tommy Archer, driver of the number 36 Cinjo Racing/Motorcity True Performance
Viper, becomes more eager with each event. The Cinjo Team has vastly enhanced
the Viper since last November, and it has shown consistent improvement with
every race. Finishing second, setting a new track record and leading the most
laps at the last event in Mosport, Canada, have made Archer anxious for the
team's first win. "Mosport was fun. We have to be considered a favorite to
win in Detroit. I am comfortable with the Detroit track, having won there
before. We are going to need to stay out of trouble and have a good clean
race. The team is still coming together and we are still developing the car."

Archer is a previous winner on the 2.36-mile, 14-turn island circuit. In
1992 the Minnesota-based driver won the hour-long race in a Dodge Daytona.

Joe Tranchida, owner of Cinjo Racing, is ready to run in front of the team's
hometown fans. "The car has improved dramatically with each race. We should
have won the last one. We are based about an hour north of the city, so we
are hoping that Detroit will be the scene for the team's first win."

The Detroit race will be televised on CBS on June 17 at 5:00 p.m. EST.
