I'm looking at getting a set of used iforged rims 18x10 front 19x13 for my 98 gts. The guy selling them said the previous owner had them on a gen 3 and had to use spacers and a ebrake relocation kit for these rims. If i were to get these rims would i have to do the same even though they would be going on a gen 2 rather than a gen 3? I really am not to keen on the idea of spacers and relocating the ebrake for a set of rims if it is in deed necessary. thanks in advance guys

Out of curiousity, why would a gen 3 require the spacer and relo kit for a stock sized rim?

I think it's because the brakes. They needed a bigger wheel to fit and to make the 18" fit, spacers have to be used to get the extra clearence. If I am wrong, please somebody correct me...............................
