Dealer diagnosis--EVAP pump failure

That stincks. I would at least ask to see it before they throw it away or send it off. I always ask before hand so that there is no excuses later. I like to see that they actually do change the piece they said they would. I don't trust the 5-star that much down here.

The year matters!

Prior to '98 (I think) - the evap canister was mounted in the front fascia, driver's side, opposite the radiator overflow bottle. Since the change, it has been located in the right-rear quarter, beneath the tub, opposite the battery. If it is the latter, they probably just need to remove the filler panel behind the tire to service it - not the entire fascia.

<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>From '00 and up, the EVAP pump is under the right rear tub, VERY EASY to R&R.
