Differential Fill Opening Diameter

Does anyone know the diameter of the fill hole on the differential on a 2001? In other words, what size hose would fit into the differential fill hole?

My fluid transfer gun has a 5/8" OD hose, and I'm thinking this may be wider than the opening. Thank you.

The hole is 3/4 in ID.

The 5/8 tube should be ok.

I would guess 1/2" NPT which is about 7/8" OD (0.840). The ID of the threads will be less.
