Difficult shifting from 1st to 2nd (sometimes)

I have an intermittent problem when shifting between 1st & 2nd. It feels like the linkage maybe binding and if I retry shifting couple of times it will go into 2nd. This problem happens during normal shifting and it seems to occur more the slower I shift. I am wondering if this is a common problem and something worked loose in the linkage to cause this? All other gears are fine. Thanks

got to ask the obvious question first, just in case. are you familiar with the skip-shift feature?

Are you going slower than 20-30 mph when you try to shift?
