Haven't changed plugs in a car in years! Today, did the whole nine yards with the Viper - plugs and wires. Pulled the cowl, removed the top of the air box, and took my time. Left some skin somewhere in the engine compartment when the wrench slipped trying to remove one particularly stuck plug (previous dude overtightened, I'd say.) It was a blast, all in all, and the real thrill is starting it up and not hearing any tell-tale missing indicating I f'ed the job up!
Took it out later for some WOT runs through 123, and, yes, it did seem faster.

Wonder how often viper owners tend to change plugs? I'm thinking I may put mine every two or three oil changes, since they really aren't too bad to do...

Fun stuff!! :2tu:

I learned to change mine when I was told that the dealership would charge $400 for plugs and wires. Not a chance! I called Jon B. at PartsRack for a quick tutorial and rolled up my sleeves and got the job done. It was cool.
