If the passenger side works, the switch has failed in the "Open"
position. To test for this, discon the battery to stop the voltage to the switch.....(be sure window is open!)
That should either FIX the problem or tell you the switch is toast. Also, while you are INSIDE the car, try the mechanical lever on the C-pillar inside. THAT could un-stick the latch if it is not a voltage-open situation.
