That's too high. Particularly considering your reaction time will be a few RPMs past that.

GenII shift points are 5200 to 5400. SRT should be the same I imagine.

Srt shift higher. As high as you can get without hitting the rev limiter. I shift at 5800. Eagle

Chuck is right about reaction time. In my car I set the light at 5400 b/c I want to shift at 5600-5700. I had a light at 5600 but i started bouncing off the rev limiter!

The ideal way to find out where to shift, though, is to look at your dyno graph and see where you make peak power. then shift right after the power starts to drop off. And that puts you back at the beginning of the power band.

good luck!

The SRT is quite different. You want to be as close as possible to fuel shut-off for best times. That said the ideal shift point is probably just shy of 6000 rpm. I would set a shift light for 5800 rpm to allow for a 200 rpm rise/delay.

Another question is how you wired in the Raptor. I have one on my work bench and now is the time to install.

Stock SRT-10 Coupe makes peak HP (510 HP) at 5600 rpm with a redline at 6000 rpm. If you are going to powershift set the shift light at 5600 rpm. You will pass 100-150 rpms past this by the time you shift anyway. If you don't powershift, set the shift light at 5800 rpm.

Now, if you have Paxton and other stuff, you need to look at your dyno graph. Set the shiftlight a little past your peak HP point.
