I raced my 00 for the first time last night on an 1/8 mi. track...I dont know if this is good but they seem low...I was in southern ga. and it was muggy...My best run was a 8.23 at 86.5 mph. witha 1.90 sixty foot...My highest mph was 87.2..I know i can get the 60 ft. down a bit maybe 1.8 on my street tires.. but the mph seems low...Any input on this?

Looked back at my only Viper 1/4 mile outing when I had the '95 RT. It had K&N's and smooth tubes. All else stock. My wife ran a 12.576 in the 1/4 at 111.40 mph. On that particular run her 1/8 mile numbers were 8.142 at 87.00 mph. Her 60 ft time on that run was 1.866 on stock Michelins. She did do a burnout in the waterbox. She can drive. That was only her third Viper 1/4 mile pass ever.

Looks like your numbers would have netted a 12.5 or 12.6 pass in the 1/4 mile. Hope this helps.

Not sure how accurate these are.

From the site-

http://www.prestage.com/Car+Math/Car+Math+Formulas/default.aspx

Formulas for Calculating Performance

Convert between 1/4 mile and 1/8 mile ET's

1/4 mile ET = 1/8 mile ET x 1.5832 (thanks to Bobby Mosher for this formula)

1/8 mile ET = 1/4 mile ET / 1.5832 (thanks to Bobby Mosher for this formula)

Calculate 1/4 mile ET and MPH from HP and Weight

ET = ((Weight / HP)^.333) * 5.825

MPH = ((HP / Weight)^.333) * 234

Calculate HP From ET and Weight

HP = (Weight / ((ET/5.825)^3))

Calculate HP From MPH and Weight

HP = (((MPH / 234)^3) * Weig

Vipers DO pull harder than normal cars on the top end of the quarter. Normally accurate 1/8 - 1/4 formulas mayb be low..
