OK, I'll bite, Y2K5SRT...what is a DVD-based owners manual for a 2010 Viper that you mentioned in the "safety" thread ?

Sounds as though it would be real handy at night on a country road...without one's computer!!!

I picked up one earlier this year on disc. It's ok. I do prefer the paper pages vs taking the laptop to the garage. Plus it didnt work on OSX and had to boot vista for it.

Thanks, All...I see that there will still be a smaller paper manual to be kept in the vehicle...which was the major point of my post.

The 2010 Viper's owner DVD hasn't been released yet and is in final production right now. The VCA got some prime time to tout the benefits of the club as well.

If you are talking about the Viper you are probably talking about the shop manual vs. the consumer-oriented owner's manual. To my knowledge only a handful of owner's manual DVD's shipped with some Jeeps - definitely not for the Viper.
