Remember one thing: You get what you pay for. Don't want headaches? Get Stoptech rotors. High-grade metal and great construction. I don't really recommend drilled; slotted last longer and provide enough degassing area.

I have ROTOTECH cross drilled and slotted rotors. I drive the car quite hard and I'm happy with the rotors, they have hold up over a year with minimal wear.
Yes, they may not be as good as big brakes or other high end products, so far however no issues.

EBC slotted and drilled fine for street and a little heated driving if you get my point........ Good value for dollar, Jon B has them for less than tire rack.

After a year with my ROTOTECH rotors, I had them starting to crack from the middle holes. I have heard even the best will do this under hard driving conditions, but only have experience with the roto-techs. I called them after finding the cracks(had 2000 miles on the rotors), they said there warranty extends for up to 2 weeks

Agreed 100%. When it comes to rotors, you DO GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. I've learned a few things along the way doing MANY brake jobs with different cars. Never skimp on rotors. Never skimp on brakes pads. Oh yeah, and never skimp on tires either. Even my winter ****** gets the best of these things, as I've had to Re-due far to many brake jobs after 10,000 miles (warped rotors, uneven brake wear, overheating problems, etc...). You'll SAVE money, and TONS of time in the end.

Remember the rotor is really a heat sink, so you are actually taking surface area off the rotor by drilling it. Most aftermarket drilled rotors are made for racing & are expected to be changed as a maintainace item. If you want a longer lasting rotor for street & ocasional track use get them Cryro treated for around 90$ & have a long life.

Eradi-Speed crossed drilled/slotted rotors are the best. They cost about 900.00 but are worth every penny.
