The alarm is fully operational and the battery is new. I´m thinking that there is some kind of problem with the ground or some other electrical malfunktion.
ôm thinking of replacing the whole wiring, but i am going to try to find the problem before i do that.
Thanks for the answers, anyone with more input?
If you think its the ground, check the ohms at the ground spot just below jump start relay box. I added 2 extra grounds cables in battery compartment, because one ground for the entire car was not enough.
Batteries are weird and depending where you get them. My stock battery went bad and bought a new one and one week later same thing as you. go to start and click, click, click.
Just because the battery is new does not mean it not defective. put a meter on it before cranking and during to see. I just power jumped my viper with another car and it started right away. Took the battery back and got another and car starts all the time now.
