It seems like there are a lot of uses for a Viper engine!

Here's a metallic green Cobra kit with one:

The guy wants to sell it: (586) 871-3495 -- don't know him.

And here's a modified Hemi Cuda with a Viper engine and some interesting plumbing:

And for you old fashioned hot rodders:

Maybe we've been totaling too many and making too many engines available!

Nice Cobra replica, except the heavy metal flake paint! Tack-O-rama.

Oh, and the windshield decal is just a LITTLE over sized. With an engine like that in a 2000 lb car, I would think you'd like to be able to SEE!

It started as a Hemi-Cuda, then upgraded. I'm told the car weighs 1980 lbs. With the Paxton setup on it I'll bet it flys!!

Excellent idea for a thread! Been meaning to do this for some time myself. Anyone else have pics of Viper-engined vehicles? Post 'em. Here are some others:

First, that Jeep from tim721’s thread:

There's the SRT-10 Ram, and Viper-powered Dodge Tomahawk concept bike. Ever heard of Ilmor Engineering? They were once an independently-owned and operated firm contracted by AMG to build Mercedes's Formula One engines. Still do, although now they're owned (or partially owned) by DaimlerChrysler. They also make boat engines.

The Viper engine in the Cobra isn't really that big of a deal when you realize that the original Cobra's made about 500hp anyway. So it comes do to a question as to whether or not the Viper engine weighs less. I'm assuming it does seeing how's it's AL and all but any one know for sure?

Love the Viper powered Cuda!
