Yikes ! 1993 was such a 'wierd' year, with over 200 chages occuring between Vin 001 and 1055.........

The Borg-Warner (now Tremec) T-56 internal parts should be available from any local tranny shop that works on BW Vette transmissions.

The problem with the fans is that "superceded" part numbers not only replace but sometimes upgrade the part. Your dual-fan 93 has a 12" left, and a 11" right. The same motor for both sides.

What does not fit? The larger shroud is left side. Hmmm.

If you E-me your part number, I can see if that matches what PartsRack would have sold you......

I had a '94 radiator replaced under warranty - found it had the fan shroud mounting studs in a different place. Tried to get the correct old style radiator and couldn't- so the dealer also replaced the fan. The new fan shroud (much, much better) only works with the new radiator; old shroud only works with the old radiator.

If it helps, the P/N from the old 2-fan shroud was 4682529. I still have it, so if other part numbers can help, let me know. You'll want to repair that fan, the new radiator (in case you consider switching just to be able to buy a fan that works) will be a dealer cost of about $600.

Tom, the new fan shroud (module) that came out as a running change in late 98, will fit the 94 thru early 98 vehicles. What you have to do is remove the lower center stud and move the upper center stud about 7 1/4" to the left (driverside). On some supports, the stud will screw into a nut that is already there. If not, then drill a hole in the support (be careful, the radiator is right behind it) and mount the stud. Then drop the new module in. The fan connector will plug in to the 96-98 early coupes and 97-98 early roadsters. On the 94-96, I just convert the connector from the old module.
