How involved is it to flush the oil out of your brake system on a 05 SRT/10 just to change oil brands? I going from what ever DC put in the car to Motul. I used to use the AP600 for the GTS but I’ve been hearing the Motul is as good and it’s a lot less money. And I do own a powerbleeder to help.

Also, anybody using the AP600, I have 5 unopened bottles I'll sell for cheap.

Andrew,

The Viper manual has a good section on this subject.

It's pretty straight forward. You'll need about 3 pints. Buy four just in case you screw up.

A power bleeder will help.

Take the wheels off and bleed inside caliper first, then outside. Start at the rear, pass side then driver's side, move to the front pass then driver.

Don't let your resevoir get too low.

Motul works well for the price. It is a bit yellow when new, so let the tech guys know you're running Motul or they may think that your fluid is dirty.

Thanks Dan.
I have that manual, I'll check it out.
Thanks for the tech tip as well. Normally I bring my own oils to them.
