First off I really appreciated all of your support after my accident, I can't
thank you all enough to let you know how much it really helped me, THANK
YOU. :2tu: Now maybe I can pay you back a little.

I'm going to settle my insurance claim on Monday. I talked with JonB and
Bill Pemberton to go over what I should get for my Viper. They gave me
the BEST advice anyone could ask for and by saying that if it ever happens
to you CALL THEM FIRST. They know Vipers better then anyone I have
ever met since being a member here since 2003. When I buy my next one
you can bet it will be from Bill and any parts I ever need will come from JonB.
To the newbies these are the two most HONEST MEN you will ever do business
with!!!!!!!!!! That being said, THANK YOU JONB AND BILL PEMBERTON!:2tu:

Now for the settlement of my 2002 RT/10 with all options and having only
5875 miles. My insurance company is Allstate and I have been with them
for 30 years. My agent never got envolved of any of the after math of my
accident, once it happens its out of their control. The adjuster who came
to look at my car gave me a call pryor to going to the car and asked if I
wanted to meet him there. ( WOW ) I did meet him and he really couldn't
say enought words about how nice the car looked, NOT EVEN A FINGER PRINT
he quoted. Anyhow he was great to deal with and said as soon as he found
out what the offer would be he would call me. Well less then 24 hours later
he did call and was surprised as to what they were coming up with, which
in turn made me do my homework and really find out what it was worth. This
guy was really on my side and stated I should find some comp's and go from
there. Well after getting all the info from JonB and Bill P it became real
clear they were being more then fair. So I am closing it out with Allstate
on Monday. Now here are the numbers for my car.

$ 46,850 + TAX + TAGS AND

I GET TO BUY IT BACK FOR
SALVAGE VALUE, WHICH I AM
AND YOU CAN CALL JONB FOR
ANY PARTS YOU MIGHT NEED.
ALL PARTS ARE PERFECT AND
IF YOU NEED A MOTOR JUST
CHECK MY POST AND YOU WILL
SEE IT RAN A 11.514 PRETTY
MUCH STOCK!!!!!!!!!! INTERIOR
IS PERFECT. WHEELS ARE ALSO
PERFECT EXCEPT FOR LEFT
REAR WHICH HAD REALLY
MINOR CURB RASH FROM
THE ACCIDENT. PM ME IF
YOU WANT MORE INFO.

All and all I will be walking away from this with 50k + !!!!!!!!!

Thanks be to JONB and BILL PEMBERTON :2tu:

Good to hear that the insurance company is being cool with you and you're getting a fair value on it.

I'm looking forward to pics of your next Viper! Any hints as to what it's going to be??

WOW!! thats a great deal from the insurance company. Much better than you could have done by selling it even in a better market. Glad to hear they took care of you.

You should have taken that $ and bought that TT that sold yesterday at BJ or better yet take another 40k and get a GTS-R.

So the only way to get the money out of a Viper these days is to total it.

Bad joke! Glad it worked out okay.

I'm in the same boat. My 108 mile '08 was totalled by my Dodge Dealer a few weeks back. I purchased it new back in December '08.

My purchase price was $79, 657 (minus my '06 trade and BIG discounts;)). Anyway, they are cutting me a check for the Full Purchase Price + 6% PA sales tax. (84K+)

Now I get to go Viper shopping again. Question is - Brand New '08 or Brand New '09??

I'll have to give Bill P. a call and see what he's got to offer.:2tu:
