Former Viper Goddess shouts: AUCTION FOR AMERICA!

Former Viper Goddess, Elaine Pearson, now working in DaimlerChrysler's Jeep division, has informed us of a great event that will occur on EBAY!:

"In the wake of the September 11 terrorist attacks, ebay set up a charity auction called "Auction for America", with the goal of raising $100 million in 100 days to help the victims of the attacks.

When they asked us to donate a new Jeep® Liberty to the cause, naturally we said "YES!"

We wanted to offer something really special, so we created a customized Liberty Limited Edition in Flame Red with flags flowing down the sides and a bald eagle on the hood. These have been beautifully painted by a local airbrush artist. The interior is customized with red, white and blue leather accents and was donated by our supplier, MSX International.

The listing will be posted for auction this evening, and will close on November 16. Please check it out, and share this with your club members.

I know how much you guys love an auction, especially one that's for a good cause. I hope you'll check it out on ebay.com.

It's enlightening to see another charitable event conquering the ill effects left to those who need our help! What a great donation. The Jeep Liberty is synonymous with the patriotic pledge lead by compassionate Americans who have been so willing to congregate and help those in need keeping faith directed in forward momentum!

As a Corporation, DCX is the largest corporate donor to the relief effort, this is icing on the cake!

I spoke with Kim and VCA HQ last week, and to this point VCA members have donated over $7000 so far, not including the below $$'s..

We held an auction at our Fall Foliage event a few weeks back. Everybody brought a Viper related item to auction off, the items ranged from custom Viper trailer tie downs and VOI blankets, to Johnney Lightning Pewter GTS paperweights, and NBA Matchbox Vipers.... in the end a $1000 was raised for the Red Cross Disaster relief fund ($800 from the auction, and the Mid South VCA region threw in another $200 top make it an even $1000)
