Front Lower Fascia Tape??

The front nose tape on the lower ends of my Viper has some tears in it. Is the dealer tape strip the best thing or, is there anything else out there that will work??

Go here http://www.clearbra.com/paint/scotchal.html and buy a foot by foot of it and make a bunch yourself. MUCH cheaper.

I have a red GTS and I use 3M red reflective tape. It's completely invisible during the day, but make the car look wild coming at you at night. I think 3M makes a similar black tape that would protect and cover scratches, but I haven't used it.
