What is the differnce in the front PS2 275/35/ZR18 C1 and one labeled MBZ.

Hopefully Luke at Tire Rack will chime in to confirm but the C1 designation means this is the Viper-specific tire manufactured by Michelin as OEM. The C1 does have some structural and/or compound differences from the "regular" PS2. I don't know what the "MBZ" designation is but many car manufacturers are using the PS2 as OEM now. My pure guess is that the MBZ stands for Mercedes Benz.

Here is what I found and they are not the same tire.

C1 tread depth 9/32, MBZ 10/32
C1 tire weight 26lbs, MBZ 27lbs
C1 overall diam. 25.7", MBZ 25.6"
C1 revs per mile 815, MBZ 814

Everything else shows to be the same.

the C1 is the Viper specific tire which has been altered from the standard PS2 per engineering agreements between Dodge engineers and Michelin engineers. What those alterations are is not public knowledge. The 'MBZ' version has gone through the same type of alterations but , are specific to Mercedes Benz engineering requirements
