\'frustrated\' with engine oil leaks

((On my '96 GTS))
I have upgraded to the 2000 pan gasket added a bead of red silicone to both mating surfaces after careful preparation and still have leakage on the pan, the frame rail and on my starter housing for about a 1' length area starting at the back of the pan..

Anybody out there figured out a permanent fix for this problem??
I wish Fel-Pro made a cork&rubber gasket for this beast!!

Thanks in advance

Re: \'frustrated\' with engine oil leaks

A BIG thank you to Eddie Martin Viper Tech at Bill Luke Dodge
in Phoenix AZ and Larry Macedo MS Performance for your private e-mails that helped me figure out my leak problem.. It was the
rear seal cover plate that gets a crack in the diaphram seal and then spits oil on the starter..

And one more big thanks to Eddie for giving me the part numbers..
