Gen 2 pedal cluster adjustment issue

I am having trouble with my pedal cluster adjustments staying put. Every time I adjust the pedals closer to me, it will in a very short amount of time move further out further away from me and towards the floor on its own. I am constantly having the turn the adjustment switch to get the pedals back up to the proper location. Is there a way to tighten up the adjustment mechanism so it will stay put?
