Gen I Gas Mileage results for 2500 miles

Just turned 20,000 last night on my 1994 RT/10. My first 2,500 miles with the car (from 17.5-20k) I averaged 15.7 miles per gallon.

Sounds close to me. I get 22 mpg on the highway, and about 13 in the city. Of course, I always keep my foot out of it and shift at 2000 rpms.....um, yeah right......

I had my best gas mileage on a trip over to North Bend from Spokane, WA. It is about 250 miles.

27 mpg......6th gear 75-77 mph.


From North Bend to Tacoma - 45 miles

12 mpg. Stuck in traffic and 2nd and 3rd gear......

That is great mileage.

I try like heck to get 12 in town. Hardly ever do. I have over 30k miles on the car. Strange thing is, now that it is a Venom 650R, I have noticed very little change in my MPG.

Sounds close to mine.

I get about 15-16mpg back and forth to work and 23-24 on the highway. For some reason my gas mileage goes down during spring and fall though.
