Getting the itch. I’ve had too many muscle cars to count…mostly Mopar's all 4spds (2 roadrunners, a 340 demon, 70RTSE 440 Challenger, 340 Cuda) a 6spd Hellcat challenger, then went to the dark side w a 70 GTO convertible w a 455 and tremec 5spd.
My current toy is a 16k mile 99 trans am 30th anniversary.
I’m 6’2” 235 lbs in relatively good shape for 56.
I’m getting the itch for a viper GTS. Not a trailer queen want one under 50k miles.
Is it unreasonable to think a budget of 55k for a 97-00 ?

Depending on the miles you are willing to settle for, 55K may be a little thin.
Thx for the quick reply. I may be able to go to $60k. I know RT10’s are dropping in price…but there’s no mistaking the rooflines on the GTS. That would be my first choice.
Maintenance records will be a must. And no branded titles…this will be a “for a while” car not “forever”

55 may be on the low side, for comparison I just sold my 98 rt/10, 29000 miles, body and interior in very good condition soft top only 45000.
Good luck, the 60 may be closer.

I understand I’m on the viper site and can understand what the values are from you guys.
However looking at cars and bids results in the last few months, prices for gen 2 and 3 are all sub 60.

I think it’s a pretty reasonable price range. That’s about what I paid for mine two years ago
