Harassed By The BBB Rep

Thanks to all for their opinions regarding membership with the BBB! Now we're being harassed by their rep to join since we haven't come to an agreement on membership. Who do you call when the BBB won't stop hounding. I wish I never answered the call and sat down with their rep at this point.

Sounds like they are building quite a reputation. Spread the word on a few internet boards and watch them change their ways or shrivel up and die.

Tell him you'll join if he gets you a customer who wants $300 worth of work..He must know someone who owns a make of car that you do performance work on. Word of mouth seems to be the quickest make or break for a hot rod shop anyway. It's questionable whether you need the BBB. "Bad news travels twice as far, and twice as fast as good news" They have no real power, and often lag behind what's really happening in a particular situation.
